Oh, no, I sort of purposely left out Mr. Lazenby, as well as Tim Dalton and dear old Pierce. They simply never made much of an impression on me as Bond.
Ikind of had a secret crush on Mr Lazenby. OHMSS was the first Bond movie I had seen at the cinema (I was only 4), back home in Australia, and because he is afellow Aussie, what more can I say?
Another BIG vote for George Lazenby- visually, the perfect replacement for Sean. Interesting how tastes change...when I was young, Daniel Craig would not have made much of an impression on me; too hairless, too muscly, too alien looking. It was dark & hairy Sean Connery all the way. But now that I've matured, Daniel Craig looks just about perfect in every way, big ears and all.
You have forgotten George Lazenby from OHMSS.
ReplyDeleteCertainly he has to be a contender

ReplyDeleteI certainly thought Lazenby was pants-engorging, but my favorite is little Danny Craig. He's dreamy.
ReplyDeleteSee my blog for what could have been for Mr Lazenby

ReplyDeleteI do love this blog! Thanks for it.
Whoops, forgot to ask David Toms for his blog address so I can see 'what could have been' for poor George L. Thanks, David.
