June Valli was very pretty. I do not understand how anyone could have chosen that photo for the "The Torch" album cover. There is another photo of her on another edition of the album, which is much better. Here is a link to it: http://blogimg.goo.ne.jp/user_image/3f/3d/0f9f7d0328ddc8e31028681dd7ef79be.jpg I do not know which one was the original. If it was the one in the link I provided, I cannot imagine why it would have been changed. The album is excellent by the way, and includes a fantastic rendition of "All Alone."
AtStirred, Straight Up, with a Twist, it helps to remember that it is permanently 1962 (give or take a decade); and that the problems of the real world can be solved with a touch of glamour and a dash of style.
Thanks for visiting, have fun, and please feel free to add your wit and sparkle to the proceedings!

That photo of June Valli isn't particularly alluring! Surely the photographer took more than one photo?
June looks like she's gonna be a little sick...
She's gagging on glamour.
I love these album covers! Makes me think of a sultry, smokey-voice Julie London album.
