(Embarrased admission: at first I thought that was a post-mortem of poor sweet Jayne Mansfield, but then I realized where I was, and that TJB would never show something like that!) Jeez, underneath all the make-up was a pretty little thing! (WV: fabio)
My dad was in the audience when Marilyn performed for the soldiers in Korea and my family always thought the pics that he took were valuable, he even got one with Marilyn riding with General Macarthur in a jeep. Sadly, we were told that there were thousands of soldiers with cameras in the audience that day and that makes them a lot less valuable.
AtStirred, Straight Up, with a Twist, it helps to remember that it is permanently 1962 (give or take a decade); and that the problems of the real world can be solved with a touch of glamour and a dash of style.
Thanks for visiting, have fun, and please feel free to add your wit and sparkle to the proceedings!
