



By the time John Loder wooed Bette Davis in reel life in Now, Voyager (1942) and Old Acquaintance (1943), and Hedy Lamarr (the third Mrs. Loder, 1943-1947) in real life, he cut a courtly, if somewhat staid and starchy, appearance. But, oh! how he glistened in his sleek, youthful prime.
he had a funky hairline. it looks fake, but it isn't. i'm sure it bugged him. it's annoying me.
