Like Susan and Lena (and Flo Ballard, I might add) I'm having a birthday today too. And like Hawaii, I too am Five-Oh! (don't quite know what that's supposed to mean yet.)
But I am looking forward to being taken to Musso & Frank for a juicy steak later tonight!
But the best present of all has been finding this site last week.
AtStirred, Straight Up, with a Twist, it helps to remember that it is permanently 1962 (give or take a decade); and that the problems of the real world can be solved with a touch of glamour and a dash of style.
Thanks for visiting, have fun, and please feel free to add your wit and sparkle to the proceedings!

If I run into Garbo, I'll let you know.
So very many thanks!
Please, sir, could we have some more Lena?

Felix, stop! You're gonna make us cry, and this recession has forced us to use cheap mascara!
cet3 - Miss Lena is serving up enough glamour here for at least a dozen of these neophyte "divas" that keep turning up on the radio, isn't she?
poor Susan.....they airbrushed her cleavage out of existence.
For a brief time during the war rationing years, having only one elongated breast was quite popular.
Is that a calla lily growing our of susan's armpit?
