Modesty Blaise is the best film to see Virna Lisi and her hair in all it's full-color glory. The movie sucks, but visually gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteDarling, I adore you, but wasn't that Monica Vitti?
ReplyDeleteOMG! I am such a dolt! You're right! Oh well, but Monica's hair did have a life of it's own in Modesty Blaise.
ReplyDeleteMy apologies to Virna.
I have always thought Virna Lisi was one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN EVER BORN!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS

ReplyDeleteNo, dear, that's "Veni, vidi, vici."
ReplyDeleteI *love* this picture of Virna in her natural phase. I intend to tape it to my vanity mirror as a guideline.
