I have read that "Love on a Rooftop" had higher ratings than "That Girl," but that "That Girl" had some friends in high places at ABC that "Love on a Rooftop" did not. I haven't ever seen a complete list of the 1966-67 ratings so I don't know if it is true that "Rooftop" was ranked higher than "Girl."
Judy's still around, but you never see her. Kinda weird to think she was considered for the lead in Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Great, great photo. Montgomery, sigh.
AtStirred, Straight Up, with a Twist, it helps to remember that it is permanently 1962 (give or take a decade); and that the problems of the real world can be solved with a touch of glamour and a dash of style.
Thanks for visiting, have fun, and please feel free to add your wit and sparkle to the proceedings!
What a great photo! Have you seen the promo the three of them did? It is on YouTube.
