The gals from The Best of Everything! Its a pity that Martha Hyer was practically snipped out of the movie as it was initially about 4 girls ("plus of course "Joan Crawford as Amanda Farrow") but, in keeping with those movies about '3 girls looking for love' they cut it down to 3 in the editing, leaving Martha (who had been sensational and Oscar-nominated the year before in Some Came Running) on the sidelines!
AtStirred, Straight Up, with a Twist, it helps to remember that it is permanently 1962 (give or take a decade); and that the problems of the real world can be solved with a touch of glamour and a dash of style.
