What Ever Happened to Baby June?
JUNE HAVOC
November 8, 1913
She was half of the legendary sister act which also included the future Gypsy Rose Lee; she's a Broadway legend; she co-starred with Gregory Peck and The Village People (not in the same film). She's also still going strong, last seen being her warm and witty self in the wonderful documentary, Broadway: The Golden Age, By Those Who Were There (2003). For these and myriad other reasons, we heart June Havoc, and petition to have her birthday declared a national holiday.
