Our latest Mystery Guest was Laura Hope Crews, who had an esteemed career on the stage before becoming internationally famous as the flustered, fluttering, fainting Aunt Pittypat Hamilton in a little thing called Gone with the Wind (1939). No one guessed her, but Peenee came closest - my prom date did, in fact, bear a striking resemblance. Thus, he wins a lifetime supply of Uncle Peter's Smelling Salts. You're welcome, bitch.
well, I'll be!
ReplyDeleteWell, Fiddle-dee-dee!
ReplyDeleteLOVE her, and if you ever get the chance to see The Silver Cord, it offers her a rare leading role as a devious possessive mother and she's awesome! Good mystery this time out!
ReplyDeleteUhm, thanks? And my deepest sympathies re: Your Prom.
