Mad About the Birthday Boy
We're mad about Toby Worthington, who had a birthday this past weekend. In a perfect world, we'd be gadding about a bygone Manhattan with Mr. Worthington in celebration, sipping martinis in smart nightclubs, taking in every sophisticated chanteuse and diseuse in town -- and we would have remembered on the exact date. But it is not, alas, a perfect world; and we are far, far from perfect -- so we hope that this little tribute will suffice. Mr. Worthington has long been a staunch friend and supporter of SSUWAT, and we wish him many more years of wit, style, and unflappable good taste.

Happy belated birthday to the most charming Mr. Worthington! Dark sultry looks and the dash to match - the boy's got it all! xo EEE
ReplyDeleteSUSWAT, I tried to leave a comment and blogger ate it up. SO,here again I declare my admiration for Mr Worthington. His comments are gifts for any blogger. To come to his attention is an honor-How could we NOT Know about his birthday? I am so very glad you are on the inside track-Mr. protects his privacy and good thing He does, otherwise there would have been an assemblage of revelers with an elegant big brass band-a smartly dressed and well tuned one -Of course. Happiest of belated birthdays to Mr Worthington. pgt
ReplyDeleteEEE - Mr. W is, indeed, dreamy and dashing.
ReplyDeletelittle augury - I know that Mr. W. protects his privacy, but I couldn't help but share this lovely photo with everyone. I'm quite proud to call him my friend, and trust his taste implicitly -- and, when I win the lottery, the first thing I will do is buy a townhouse, and have Mr. W. design it! (With at least one room done in pumpkin and aubergine, right, Mr. Worthington?)
Please count me in too. Mad about the man. x
ReplyDeleteWhee!!! It's a Worthington Love-In!
ReplyDeleteActually I think the man TW is today is more handsome than the lovely boy he was a few decades ago. He does have impeccable taste, a generous spirit, and the ability to dish with humor and fun, but never with meanness. Happy birthday and many more wonderful, stylish years to come.
ReplyDeletehome before dark - I whole heartedly concur on all counts. So few beautiful boys become handsome men - much less stylish, sophisticated, erudite, and talented, to boot.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, everyone, for your kind birthday wishes!
ReplyDeleteAnd a special thank you to TJB for inflicting this honor
upon me....you devil.
