It always seemed to me that Sterling Hayden took a dunk in the 'Fountain of Age.' He was only in his 50s when in "The Godfather" but he looked much older. I guess hard living will do that to you. He was actually a talented writer, too. He had a novel titled "Voyage" I remember reading.
