My mother won a beauty contest when she was a freshman in contest. It was judged by Rock Hudson...no lie!!
And she also got to interview Elvis for her college newspaper. The most celebrity I've ever experienced was seeing Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach in Aspen. Oh, and walking behind Steve Martin on a hiking trail in Montana.
Well, obviously, fabulosity runs in your family, Jill! You should share some of your mom's glamorous past on your blog one day.
I sat in front of Sarah Jessica and Matthew Broderick at a play on Friday evening; ho hum. I was much more impressed when I lunched at Le Veau d'Or on Saturday afternoon, and was seated nearby the elegant, dapper Arturo Ramos, son of the uber-fabulous Millicent Rogers.
@ TJB I was so in love with Millicent Rogers. What a fashion Icon and those Charles James Couture Gowns. To die for! I'm living in Arizona now. I'm going to the Phoenix Museum this weekend to see the fashion Exhibit of: Ann Bonfoey Taylor! She donated her entire wardrobe to them..I can't wait to see it. Amazing Couture at it's best.
Mmmm! Especially Jeff Chandler
