  2. Aparently, some of the reasons why she got the part was because
    a. she had gorgeous! green eyes and B. she was half irish (her mother).
    Regardless of her talent. Although, I have to say that didn't stop Veronica lake from taking part in some of the best Noirs I know of.
    Mrs Leigh was still far more talented than ms. Lake.
