How odd! I've met so few celebs, but two of them are Bea and Gregory! This was a hoot. Those snaps of him stripping are hysterical and I think he'd crack up if he saw them now. He's still in amazing shape and up close those eyes are hypnotic. I recall The National Enquirer running a small color photo of him in his Z speedo and I was fixated on it for months.
whatever happened to him? I knew and actor/model in the eighties who was a dead ringer for him. Hie name was Alex Sawyer. He was a wonderful guy. I should post his pic you be amazed, Twins!
AtStirred, Straight Up, with a Twist, it helps to remember that it is permanently 1962 (give or take a decade); and that the problems of the real world can be solved with a touch of glamour and a dash of style.
Thanks for visiting, have fun, and please feel free to add your wit and sparkle to the proceedings!
formative!
ReplyDeleteI still have the issue of
People Magazine with the article about him and his strip-star turn.
He looks like he's having such fun...to me, that's what's so sexy about it.
ReplyDeleteI want to steal this whole post!
ReplyDeleteJason -- It is rather seminal, is it not?
ReplyDeleteJill -- Be my guest. I stole the whole thing from a Google image search!
I love the magazine sequence at the end. If only male strippers got that level of respect in the 1980s.
ReplyDeleteWhat are all those women doing in a gay bar?
ReplyDeleteNow that made my day.
ReplyDeleteBTW, WF was "endow"
