Poor Joan Crawford...one wonders if she were destined to never enjoy any type of happy family life. Besides her ungrateful wench of a daughter, Christina, and troubled son, Christopher, La JC was saddled with an emotionally abusive mother and sadistic brother -- both of whom leeched off of Joan once she became a Big Fat Movie Star. Exceptionally handsome brother Hal followed Big Sis to Hollywood, whereupon he managed to live off her dime, wreck her car, and offer gay-for-pay sex to various Hollywood producers. After an exasperated Joan finally cut all ties with him, Hal eventually drifted into odd jobs and alcoholism, and died of syphyllis in 1963. Enjoy your Sunday dinners at home, folks!
