  1. And then there is the persistent, tantalizing rumor that Lauren Bacall's singing voice was dubbed by a young Andy Williams in the film To Have and Have Not.

    1. Only it's not true. Bacall's voice turned out to be good enough for her character to do one song at that "lodge." They didn't use Andy William's voice.
