Worth a Thousand Words

Thanks to the absolutely marvelous Cinebeats blog, we are now utterly obsessed in eventually viewing two more impossible-to-find 60's flicks, based entirely and solely on these two stills:

JEAN SEBERG WEARING A PERFECT YSL SUIT IN MOMENT BY MOMENT (1965)

ELIZABETH TAYLOR DRESSED DOWN IN BOOM (1968)

  1. Only Liz could rock a tampon and daisy headdress.

  2. Oh my dear, I saw Boom a million years ago and I'm still marred by it. It turns out to be sort of Death Takes a Holiday lite. Very lite.

Although the tampon headdress is sort of sweet.

  3. John Waters just swears by it. He actually hosts symposiums and lectures on it. Seriously.

It would have been a riot to see the play it was based on, "The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore," with the once-in-a-lifetime pairing of Tallulah and Tab Hunter!
