Ahhh, the limited shelf life of these blonde beauties. Poor Diana got quite chunky after a while. I can still hardly believe that she was married to Richard Dawson (yes! of Family Feud!)
Ironically, though, DD was the most durable of them all, continually working even after she plumped up. She became quite the respected character actress, and a television fixture dispensing advice to the lovelorn and such.
Mamie, of course, keeps right on a-truckin', too, but hasn't made a film in God knows how long.
AtStirred, Straight Up, with a Twist, it helps to remember that it is permanently 1962 (give or take a decade); and that the problems of the real world can be solved with a touch of glamour and a dash of style.
Thanks for visiting, have fun, and please feel free to add your wit and sparkle to the proceedings!
Diana has some serious architectural construction happening with that gown
