The Sad Truth

Being flawless can be isolating.

  1. This is so true. You know I have that kind of beauty that raves, and so I’m constantly trying to ‘tone it down’ in an effort to make others around me feel more comfortable.

Just the other day I emerged from my dressing chamber and my maid said, “You look like a million dollars” to which I replied, “One million and only one million dollars?” I certainly do not want to be overdoing it during the depression by presenting myself to be fashioned over the million dollar mark.

We must all try to do our part.

  2. especially when you roam around the 14th hole of a golf course at a restricted country club.
