If its not Joanne then my second guess is the great Davita LaSalle - a disciple of Uta Hagen, she specialized in angst ridden roles set upon stages decorated with abstract scenery.
There's a touch of Mia Farrow in the vacancy of the gaze; indeed, as pointed out, something butch about the hands; the hair is really very Seberg; but I'm inclined to agree that the feral affect overall points to Lenya...
AtStirred, Straight Up, with a Twist, it helps to remember that it is permanently 1962 (give or take a decade); and that the problems of the real world can be solved with a touch of glamour and a dash of style.
