  1. in 1978 i stood in line (at the harvard coop) to get her autograph in her new book. she was still looking fantastic....'twas a thrill.

    and let's not forget her terrific cameo on the sopranos when christopher slugged her. wheee!

  2. when i was a kid i saw her too at a bookstore, she was promoting her new book which a sequal to her first autobio. my parents wouldn't buy the book, so i didn't have a chance to tell her my name, I'm still pretty mad about that ! i mean, it was Lauren Bacall
