Miss Debra Paget

Erstwhile 50's starlet Debra Paget (August 19, 1933), despite being as American as apple pie, was often cast as exotic maidens, princesses and slave girls. Although we've only ever seen her in The Ten Commandments and Love Me Tender (both 1956), based on the following images, we can't wait for Princess of the Nile (1954), Omar Khayyam (1957), The Tiger of Eschnapur (1959) and Cleopatra's Daughter (1960) to be given the full Criterion DVD treatment.

Happy Birthday, Debra Paget, wherever you are! We're sure you still look just dynamite in your harem pants.
