Whiff with Purchase
And now, normadesmond (on reprieve from the circus) reveals his Mystery Guest...
Kudos to Gene for knowing his Youth Dew! Josephine Esther Mentzer, born 102 years ago in Corona, Queens, did it the hard way....especially at the buffet table.
Here's a well fed Estee with a rather ghoulish Crawford. It appears that Joan has just yanked an hors d'oeuvre from Estee's ravenous mouth, certainly admonishing her for being such a pig. As soon as the photographer moved on, I imagine Estee wrestled the morsel away from Joan and threw it into her little bag. Those limo rides back to the house could take forever...or 40 minutes.
