LINDA CHRISTIAN
November 13, 1923

Stunning Linda Christian may never have become a major star, but she never lacked for good copy. Her scandalous and numerous romances, glamorous lifestyle, and hugely-publicized marriage to the equally beautiful Tyrone Power made her a media celebrity.



Christian's perfectly proportioned face and form also inspired artists; Diego Rivera, among others, painted her portrait no less than two times. Indeed, given her remarkable beauty and intense erotic presence, it's surprising that her film career never took off; Slaves of Babylon (1953) or The Devil's Hand (1962), anyone?



The Power-Christian marriage didn't last and, inevitably, neither did Christian's media fame. But she's fondly remembered by glamour aficionados the world over; a bombshell equally at home between the pages of Vogue, or pinned up on a mechanic's wall.



Miss Christian is still alive and, hopefully, well. Little has been heard or seen of her since the 1960's, so we extend our best wishes on this, her special day. Happy Birthday, Linda Christian!
