Miss Gloria Blondell

While sister Joan became (by turns) a beloved B-movie star, wisecracking gal pal, and sturdy character actress, Gloria Blondell (August 10, 1915 - March 25, 1986) had to settle for mostly minor parts. Ironically, she's probably remembered -- if at all -- for one memorable appearance on I Love Lucy in 1952, as Grace Foster, Lucy's curvaceous upstairs neighbor.

Our motto is, If It's a Blondell, It's Gotta Be Good, so we celebrate Gloria Blondell on what would have been her ninety-third birthday. We're sure she's whooping it up with Joanie right now.
