Noel (Coward) was very cruel with that comment on Keir, who had quite a good career, 2001 will always be playing somewhere in new editions, as well as other tosh he did like De Sade, Bunny Lake is Missing etc. I saw him on stage in London in 1976 as that very annoying cowboy in Bus Stop with Lee Remick ideal as Cherie.
Yeah. Omnivore indeed. I agree with you Michael - Kier is poorly served by that quote. It's a kick seeing him when he shows up occasionally guest starring on current shows. Thanks TJB - this was a reminder of my dear ole mum's great taste in men - in particular Clint Walker [and Gardner McKay].
Somebody's got to say it: "Keir Dullea, gone tomorrow..."
ReplyDelete"Beef, it's what's for dinner."

ReplyDeleteI never saw Clint's tv series when young, but he was certainly memorable in those movies like Fort Dobbs, Yellowstone Kelly etc.
ReplyDeleteJudging by these photos, chicken AND beef, please, and as often as possible!
ReplyDeleteI'm an unashamed omnivore!
